Illuminate Breathwork and Handpan, Saturday July 11
Where: The Studio at Honey’s Farmhouse (5819 Brooks Woods Road, Lothian MD 20711)
When: Saturday July 11, 2026, 10am-12pm
Instructor: Trish Brewer, Certified Breathwork Coach
This is that space.
Join Trish Brewer at the Studio at Honey's Farmhouse for a morning of guided breathwork and live handpan sound healing. She is partnering with Jaxon P. — local sound healer, author, and podcaster — to create something that moves through you rather than at you.
Together, we'll drop into the breath and into sound to restore what has been wounded or inactive within you. The handpan will hold what words can't reach. The breath will move what's been stuck.
This is a grounding experience — not a performance, not a workshop. Just you, the breath, the sound, and whatever has been quietly waiting underneath the noise.
Come breathe. Soften. Illuminate.
Space is limited.
What to Bring:
-
Yoga mat and/or blanket(s)
-
Eye covering (a bandanna or scarf will do, something to block the light)
-
A journal to write in after
-
Water to sip on before and after
Drawn to the handpan during a season of personal awakening and healing, Jaxon discovered the instrument’s ability to quiet the noise of everyday life and reconnect people to themselves. Originally developed in the early 2000s in Switzerland, the handpan is known for its calming melodic tones that blend rhythm, meditation, and emotion into a deeply immersive experience.
What makes Jaxon’s story especially unique is that prior to an unfortunate season of clinical depression in 2024, he had no musical background and still does not formally read music. Yet through intuition and emotion, he began naturally creating melodies by ear, eventually composing full length original sound journeys without traditional training. What started as personal therapy slowly evolved into sharing sound with others through yoga studios, meditation gatherings, and wellness collaborations.
Through live handpan improvisation, Jaxon creates grounded atmospheric soundscapes that invite participants to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the present moment. His sessions are less about performance and more about creating a collective exhale, a space where people can simply be human together.
Please Note: Breathwork can stir up deep emotions with the intention of lightening things up for you, but it can also be a lot to navigate. It is always my intention to create nurturing and compassionate space.
Consult a doctor before participating in breathwork if you are pregnant, have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, suffer from high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma, retinal detachment, aneurysms, osteoporosis, have had recent surgery, or physical injury, have a history of severe mental illness or panic attacks.
