Love sweet potatoes? Ready to grow your own? Let’s make it fun and easy! We love growing Stokes Purple, Japanese, Garnet, and Beauregard varieties and these hardy and abundant varieties will feed your family all winter long. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn:

  • How to sprout your own potatoes
  • What kind of soil grows the best sweet potatoes
  • How to make your own living soil
  • When to plant the sweet potato slips
  • Where to plant your sweet potatoes

You will get:

  • Starter potatoes
  • Pots with living soil
  • Pamphlets with instructions
  • Tasting samples of our favorite sweet potato recipes

Plant your starter potatoes in the living soil pots provided and walk away with two varieties of sweet potato starter kits!

Come early and stop by the farm store for a cup of sweet potato hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows!
